Coston Fall Tournament Review
Coston qualifies for Professional National Championship, Senior PGA Championship and Wins Pacific Northwest Senior Player of the Year.
Jeff Coston has been busy! Busy teaching and playing this “Game of a Lifetime!”
Jeff qualified for the PGA Professional National Championship next April in South Carolina. It’s the “young guys” event. Jeff will be the only grandpa in the field.
Coston and Cornett Win Pacific Golf & Turf PNW Pro-Am Championship
PGA Professional Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo G&CC and amateur Kyle Cornett of Inglewood GC won the Pacific Golf & Turf PNW Pro-Am Championship. They posted rounds of 61-65-126, a fantastic -17-under par in the four-ball team competition at Tumble Creek Club and Rope Rider courses at Suncadia Resort.
“Kyle is a tremendous partner, no question! We have worked on his game for over a year. He has made amazing strides and is ready for the next chapter on any level!” Coston stated. “I’m not finished yet myself.”
Coston Qualifies for 2019 PGA Professional Championship
Coston Wins His 6th Senior Oregon Open Title
Semiahmoo’s Jeff Coston successfully defended his Oregon Senior Open Title by shooting 68-67-66, edging former Seattle Mariners pitcher (and friend) Erik Hansen. It is Coston’s 6th Oregon Senior Open win!
On August 1, Jeff also celebrated 24 years serving as Director of Instruction at Jeff Coston Golf Academy at Semiahmoo!

79th KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship
Jeff Coston is playing in the 79th KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, May 22-27 at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Read more and get tee-times/scores at: https://www.pga.com/events/seniorpgachampionship
Coston Wins 2018 PNW Senior Players’ Championship
Jeff Coston won the Pacific Northwest Section Senior Players Championship, held at Wine Valley April 17-18th. The “Senior Players” is the first Section Major of the year.
“The wind blew hard and it was cold the first round. The course played difficult.” Coston said.
It was Coston’s 22nd Senior Major win in the Pacific Northwest Section. Jeff has 20 regular Section wins under his belt. He is the all-time leader in both categories.
Coston and Prante Win Ping Pro-Pro
Jeff Coston and Shane Prante won the Wine Valley Ping Pro-Pro Championship in a 2-hole playoff. With winds gusting and cool temperatures Coston/Prante shot 68-63 to earn the playoff opportunity.
“Shane and I enjoy Wine Valley tremendously and it looks like he is stuck with me next year!”
Jeff Coston Named 2017 Pacific Northwest PGA Teacher of the Year.
Jeff Coston has been named 2017 Pacific Northwest PGA Teacher of the Year. This award recognizes the PGA Professional who is an outstanding teacher among the ranks of PGA membership.
“I would like to thank Semiahmoo members, staff, Brett Eaton and most of all my students/friends. I am also forever grateful for the training, influence, insight and accountability of coaches Mike Bender, Mike Adams, Mike Bennett and Andy Plummer. They are going to make a teacher out of me yet. Honestly, coaching, teaching and mentoring is not what I do, it is who I am.”
