Edel Putters

I recently put my Edel putter back into my bag and it has changed my life!

I believe Edel’s theory on using a putter that you aim well. After much research and using a laser to measure aim on students, I have found that most mis-aim from inside six feet. Being fit with the proper hosel offset, loft, weight, length and more is so important.

I’ve been in conversation with David Edel himself a dozen times in the last couple of months. I have learned so much more about his research that I am excited to share with you.

In the meantime, please read the attached article from Golf Magazine.

5 Questions with Kaitlyn Anderson

Jeff Cotton interviews Kaitlyn Anderson.

Q1) You cross the border and make effort to see Jeff Coston on your golf. Why?

Kaitlyn: I really like the way that Jeff explains things to me! He makes things clear by showing me, and then I do it! We watch my swing on videos so I can really see what I am doing and what I need to change so it helps me to improve faster!  He is also so supportive and really believes in me!

Coston Blog, August 2017 – “Bunker Lesson”

I just gave another “Bunker Lesson” today. I could almost feel the tension rise as my client stepped into what they called “the TRAP”. I mentioned the first golfer who coined the word TRAP for BUNKER wasn’t very good at that aspect of the game.

Bunker play definitely has some technique; no question. Good bunker play, as in any aspect of the game is proper mindset also.  Bunker practice is usually an afterthought. Seldom practiced; usually as a 911 emergency rather than 411 information.
