Burly Hildreth wins the Bellingham Junior Open with his strongest finish yet. Burly’s three birdies today helped him secure his second win of the season by a whopping 11 strokes. With his win today, Burly qualifies for the year-end Rocky Mountain Tournament of Champions later this December. Congratulations Burly!

Coston interviews his student about the victory:

Q 1) Are you a better golfer now than when you won your first tournament and why?

Burly:  Yes. I have gotten way more accurate with my approach shots. I have also gotten more precise with my wedges after going to Camp Coston this summer. Jeff Coston and Mike Bender taught me how to perfect my short game.

Q 2) what are the strengths of your game?

Burly: Without a doubt, my drives, wedges and chipping rock.

3) Do you practice more effectively and how?

Burly: Jeff Coston showed me how to practice with a purpose by using routines, contests and drills – especially putting. Getting a shag bag has also helped me immensely.
