Jeff Coston birdied the final two holes in strong winds to shoot 66 the final round of the Champions Tour qualifying tournament. Jeff shot 69-74-73-66 to finish 3rd and earn full exempt status for the 2015 Champions Tour season.
The tournament was held in Orlando, Florida at Orange County National.
“I made a nice putt on hole 1 which was nice. I trusted myself greatly, especially the last day! I played free and I was committed, aggressive and target focused. I stayed physically relaxed and even had fun!”
Coston looks forward to playing next year and says he will continue to teach, mentor and coach at his golf academy at Semiahmoo.
“I’ve poured my life and soul into my students who have become my friends. I love them and teaching. I plan to be at Semiahmoo a long, long time.” I taught in Orlando with Mike Bender at his academy the day after I qualified!” It’s who I am!”
